Your thoughts create your feelings. If you find yourself stuck in a negative thought cycle then it’s time to change your thoughts. Ruminating on these negative thoughts is communicating to the universe that you want more of this negativity. Pay attention to the thoughts you’re thinking and how that’s making you feel. When you change your thoughts, you can change your life. Start operating from a place of positivity, happiness, joy, love, and abundance. Watch what happens when you get into that positive feeling flow state. There is the power of choosing how you feel.
You are the thinker of your thoughts. Changing your thoughts is about feeling better. It’s feeling better in your life, work, relationships, and even about yourself. Taking control of your thoughts is owning your power. Sure, you’ll still have negative thoughts come through your head. But, you can observe it and let it pass rather than stewing on it for days on end. How you feel is something you have always had the power to change. Step into your power. No one can take that away from you. Other people may try and be energy vampires to steal your light, happiness, and positivity but only if you let them. You have the power to choose how you feel in any given situation no matter how someone else responds or reacts.
Being able to create how you feel is an incredible power. If you want to feel good you have to change your thoughts. Begin to create your version of how you want to feel. Visualize what you want to feel. For example, relaxed, stress free, less anxious, at peace. Perhaps it’s feeling safe and secure in your body, surroundings, or relationships. Maybe you want to feel seen and heard. It could be that you want to feel courageous and fearless to welcome whatever challenges come your way in the future as you work to achieve your goals. Ask yourself what is your vision for how you want to feel and get crystal clear on what that feels like to you.
You don’t have to figure out how to make your vision happen. You just need to know what you want and then take little tiny steps towards that feeling today. Not tomorrow or the next day. Make conscious decisions to feel that way today. Don’t wait until you think something will happen that will make you feel the way you want. You have to make the effort to create this feeling in your life. It’s not going to just magically happen one day.
Choose to honor your vision for how you want to feel. Notice if something feels off or changes the way you feel. Maybe that’s being around certain people, consuming social media content, tv, podcasts, videos, music, etc. Be cognizant of how these are influencing your mood. You may find yourself thinking negative thoughts which throws off how you want to feel. Take back your power and leave the room or conversation to switch off the negative noise. Instead, go for a quiet walk outside, move your body, laugh, dance, sing, and clear your mind. Pull yourself back to how you want to feel.
Feeling a sense of joy and peace puts you in a place of attracting more of that energy to you. Focus on feeling those positive feelings. What you send out into the universe is what you’ll receive back. If you’re caught in a negative headspace it will only continue to grow, expand, and be returned to you twofold. Rather, operate from a sense of love and send that out into the world. Be the light even when there is darkness. Choose positivity.
Lastly, stay focused on how you want to feel rather than the outcome you’re so desperately trying to achieve. Often you have a certain goal you’re working towards and you’re so focused on trying to make it happen that you lose yourself in the process. Be present in the here and now. Tune into how you’re feeling and make adjustments so that you’re taking care of yourself. The journey to achieving your goals will be easier when you realize what thoughts and feelings have actually been holding you back this entire time. Be present to how you’re thinking and feeling throughout the day.
You can attract so much love, success, and abundance into your life. But, only if you start to think and believe it. There is a life waiting for you that is beyond your most wildest dreams. Tune into how you’re feeling each day. Operate from a place of gratitude. Stay focused on how you feel rather than gripping on so tightly to the outcome of achieving your goals. You’ll be amazed at what unfolds when you use the power of choosing how you feel.
