Guided mediations can help you tune into your body and connect with your intuition. Your intuition is there to guide you. But, often your inner chatter of all your fears, worries, and doubts loudly overpower the quiet voice of your intuition. This guided meditation will help you quiet that loud inner chatter and tune into your intuition so that you can trust what you receive as true inner guidance and knowing. If you’re struggling to make a decision or have a question about life right now then use this guided meditation to trust yourself and get the answer you need in order to move forward.
Begin this meditation by finding a quiet place where you are not driving, operating heavy machinery, or plan to be disturbed. Sit comfortably in a chair or cross legged on the floor. Close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Inhale, fully filling up your lower ribcage and exhale all the air out. Sit in the stillness and allow your thoughts to slow down. Pause and be still here bringing yourself into this present moment.
Envision a golden white light that’s shining down on your head. This light is the at the crown of your head. It’s elevating your consciousness to become aware and receive during this guided meditation. This golden light is quieting the chatter in your mind. Your inner thoughts are calming down. Any limiting beliefs or negative thoughts fall away to allow more positive thoughts, possibilities, and opportunities in. The golden light continues to grow and expand throughout your body.
The golden light travels down your chest to your heart. Continue breathing deeply and bring your attention to your heart. You can place your hand over your heart to bring more attention and awareness to this focal point. Your heart holds your intuition. Your head and heart are now in harmony with the golden light. You are connecting deeply to yourself in this guided meditation. You are being guided. Trust your feelings right now. Tune into your inner knowing, your intuition in your heart.
Now, consider a question or decision you’ve been trying to make. Bring that to the forefront of your mind. Start with your head and what is the first thought that comes to mind? Before you think about it more or let your inner chatter try to direct the narrative, just think of the first thought that comes into your mind. This first thought is a divine thought. Notice the thought.
Next, drop into your heart. Recall the question or decision you are focusing on in this meditation and feel it. Get out of your head and into your heart. Avoid overthinking here. Begin feeling into your feelings. You may feel at peace, expansive, neutral, calm, or light. This is how you know your answer is a yes. When you think about your question or decision, do you feel tense, heavy, overwhelmed, tired, or small? These feelings indicate an answer of no. Tune into your heart and what you’re feeling.
Then, you’re going to move from your heart to your gut. The golden light continues flowing from your heart to your gut. Focus on your core and feel into that area of your body. When you think about your question or decision, what do you know to be true? Your body knows. It cannot hide the truth or lie to you. What is your gut trying to tell you? Rely on your gut instinct.
Lastly, see the golden light fully surround you. Feel into that warmth and inner power of knowing. Trust your inner knowing and trust your intuition. You are being led and guided. This golden light is protecting you and allowing you to move forward with certainty in alignment with your highest self. You now know what to do and where to go. The next step on the path has been revealed to you. Do not worry, fear, or question it. Trust the divine guidance you have been given. Take one more deep inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. It is so. Open your eyes.
Any resistance that you felt in your body that came up for you during this meditation is just information. You may have felt resistance if this was one of your first times meditating. Or, just the question or decision you’re trying to make is more of a sign to be cautious rather than an absolute no. Anything you felt that wasn’t neutral, peaceful, expansive, calming, or light is generally a sign that this may not be in your best interest. It may also just be not right now. Perhaps it’s not the right time.
Take time to reflect on your experience during this meditation and see what came up for you. Pause and consider the inner guidance you received. Think about how this felt and if you were able to tune into those three separate parts of your body. Beginning with the head to quiet your inner chatter and receive your first, original, unbiased, bare thought. Then, dropping into your heart and how you truly felt. Tuning into your intuition to receive guidance. Lastly, checking in with your gut and trusting your instincts. When you are still and tap into your body, you are able to connect with your higher inner knowing. Use this guided meditation to help you find your inner guidance and trust yourself that you know what you need to do.
