How To Use Visualization To Take Action

Aug 19, 2021

Visualization is a powerful tool that can help you achieve your goals.  However, visualization alone won’t automatically achieve your goals for you.  You still have to do the work and take the necessary action steps in order to achieve your goals.  Here is how to use visualization to take action on achieving your goals.

Why Visualize

Visualization will help you achieve your goals by keeping your goal at the forefront of your mind so that you're constantly thinking about ways to achieve it.  This will help you stay motivated and focused on taking the necessary action steps towards achieving your goal.  You must keep the vision of achieving your goal in your mind if you want to make it a reality.  Otherwise, you’ll forget about it and the goal will remain unachieved.

Visualize Action

Begin by visualizing yourself taking small action steps towards achieving your goal.  This will help solidify in your mind the actions you need to be taking in order to achieve it.  In your visualization, you’ve mentally told yourself the action steps you need to take.  Now it’s time to do the work and take physical action.

Take Small Action Steps

Each day, complete one task that will move you closer towards your goals, even if it’s a small task.  Doing this one thing will be progress.  Progress is motivation to keep going.  Each little step you take will move you closer towards achieving your goal.  It’s the little things that add up over time that create massive results.  Don’t worry about if this small step is the right step to take.  Just focus on the one next task that you can do.

What Did You Do

To help you determine your small action steps, visualize the future when you you’ve achieved your goal.  Then, visualize who you had to become and what you had to do in order to achieve your goal.  There is usually something different that you had to do.  This could be that you had to act differently with more confidence, wake up earlier to spend dedicated time working on your goal, or ask for help from others, etc.  In your visualization, determine what you had to do in order to achieve your goal.

Manifest Opportunities

When you visualize your goal being achieved, your subconscious mind will start to come up with ways to turn your vision into reality.  You’ll begin to notice new opportunities appear out of nowhere that will help you to achieve your goal faster and easier.  You may meet someone who has expertise that will help you.  Or, perhaps you get connected with someone who can help you navigate the right channels and open doors for you that you never thought you’d be able to access.  Keep your eyes open because when you use the power of visualization, you’ll manifest opportunities that will help you to achieve your goals.

Visualizing your future and the success you want to create will help you stay excited, inspired, and motivated to achieve your goals.  Keeping this vision at the forefront of your mind will be a constant reminder of what you’re working towards.  Start visualizing yourself taking action towards achieving your goal.  Then, do the work and take at least one small action step each day.  Next, visualize the point when you’ve already achieved your goal and determine what you had to do in order to get there.  This will help you get clear on the exact action steps you need to take.  Plus, your subconscious will go to work on your behalf to turn your visualization into reality by manifesting opportunities that will help you.  Use the power of visualization to help you take action and achieve your goals.
