Bless and Release Negative Energy

Sep 20, 2018

We all have those moments of frustration when things don’t go the way we hoped.  Sometimes it comes down to lack of communication where a task doesn’t get completed properly.  We may be late or the process just isn’t flowing as smoothly as we’d like.

We are in control of our lives.  It is up to us to communicate what we expect and envision.  No one can read our minds.  When something doesn’t go the way we’d hoped, it’s easy to put the blame on someone or something else other than yourself.  Each one of us is one hundred percent responsible and it’s accepting that it was our own poor communication that caused the result.

There are many roadblocks and obstacles in life.  These moments try and knock us off our game.  We are faced with either giving in or finding a solution.  Often these situations come up when our patience is being tested.

Personally, when someone gets on my nerves, I usually take a deep breath and focus on slowing down to communicate the terms so they understand.  I may try a few different approaches to see if one hits home better than the other.  Either way, times like these drain a lot of my energy.  It’s important to take a moment to bless and release it.

The definition of bless and release is to say I understand this was a difficult time and I release that energy back out into the world.  It is not energy that I want to hold on to and dwell on.  Thank you, universe, for the opportunity to grow and learn from this situation.

While driving to work someone may cut you off abruptly.  Bless and release them.  They are in much more of a hurry than you need to be.  Do not allow moments like this to shift your mood.  Turn up the tunes and sing along.  Remain in your positive mood not allowing someone else’s agenda to become your own.

Occasionally you run into a rude person who has an incredibly bad attitude.  Not allowing that to affect your mood, bless and release them. They obviously have some underlying issue going on and it’s not anything you should take personally.

Sometimes you encounter someone running a million miles an hour.  You just want to tell them to slow down for a minute and breath.  Knowing you don’t want to feel that nervous energy in your life, you bless and release it.   You remain calm and focused on what you need to accomplish.

Other times someone is belittling you because you made a mistake.  We are all human and mistakes happen.  Acknowledge it, learn from your mistake and let it go.  Simply, bless and release it.  Remaining absorbed in that negativity will not get you anywhere.

My challenge for you this week is to take difficult situations and bless and release them.  Do not let them affect your mood.  Download the free PDF of the bless and release mantra you can use on a daily basis.
