How To Get Out Of Your Head

Thoughts can hold you back from taking action and living the life you’ve always dreamed of.


You think, “oh I can’t possibly do that” because you don’t have all the answers, know all the steps, or have the path fully figured out yet.


You want all the steps laid out in front of you before you begin.  Mostly, this is because you don’t want any surprises along the way.  Doing something you’ve never done before can be a bit scary. You think you’ll be more prepared if you plan out the path and it may save you time by avoiding mistakes along the way.


Trying to figure out the perfect path only keeps you stuck in research mode.  You say, “once I do this then I’ll be ready.”  The funny thing is, you figure out that one thing and then you come with another reason why you can’t get started.  You continually sit in this holding pattern, planning out what to do when it never actually gets done.


Perhaps it’s because you’re afraid.  Afraid that you’ll make a mistake, look stupid, get judged or criticized by others.  You cannot continue to live life in fear, based off what other people will think of you.  This mindset keeps you living a small life.


Think about how much you would accomplish if you just got out of your head for minute.  If you didn’t question everything and let life take its course.  If you just let go of the fear, doubt, and worry.  This is a negative vibration that only keeps you stuck where you are right now.


Start by getting out of your head.  Release those negative thoughts and replace them with positive affirmations of love and confidence in yourself.  Our mind searches for evidence that our thoughts are true.  This is why it’s essential that you have positive thoughts.  Proving that you’re confident will only happen when you take action with the thought of believing in yourself.


You may be waiting for someone to give you the green light and tell you, okay you have everything you need so you can go for it now.  No one will ever tell you that!  You’re just waiting for permission when the truth is, you’re the only one that can do so.


The only way you will start taking action is when you recognize that action doesn’t come from having complete clarity.  Clarity comes when you take action.  You take the first step and the second step will appear.  You don’t have to have the full map to figure it out.


Life is full of surprises. Although your ego likes to keep you in your comfort zone where it knows you’re safe, that is not where life happens. Life happens when we step outside our comfort zone, test our boundaries, and grow.


It’s time for you to play a bigger game.  Know that you can do anything you set your mind to.  Flooding your mind with these positive thoughts will allow you to do the things that have been holding you back from taking action and living your dream life.


There is so much you want to accomplish but your negative thoughts, that little voice inside, often holds you back from going for it.  Do not succumb to that voice.  You are the creator of your thoughts and all that is possible for you.  You have the power to do the things that you never thought possible.  But it won’t happen until you let go and get outside your own head.
